The Gandinaia Vino Varietale Syrah Rosso is a red wine made from Syrah and other local grape varieties that goes great with pasta and red meat.
The wine has a deep ruby red colour. The wine's aromas have hints of dried berries, flowers, liquorice and vanilla can also be recognised. The mouthfeel is structured, elegant and with a good balance between alcohol, softness and the tannins. The wine can be described as round and has a long finish with hints of black fruit and vanilla. The grapes are picked when they have reached their perfect ripeness after which the vast majority are destemmed and pressed. The other part is further matured under controlled conditions and later vinified. The wine is fermented in steel tank at a temperature between 26 and 30 degrees Celsius. After fermentation, further maceration takes place for 2 weeks. After this, part of the wine is placed in oak barrels for malolactic fermentation after which the wine is blended and bottled.
