Pét-Nat wine is a naturally sparkling wine that ferments in the bottle via the ancient 'méthode ancestrale', special for its pure, unfiltered character and playful, light bubbles, 100% Barbera.
Gemina is a playful and refreshing Pet-Nat wine made from Barbera grapes. These grapes are carefully picked and gently pressed to avoid tannin extraction from the skins. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks and is interrupted at just the right moment: when there is still a little residual sugar in the wine, it is bottled and sealed with a crown cap. In the bottle, the wine completes its fermentation, creating natural carbon dioxide bubbles and leaving the yeast behind, which contributes to its unique texture and flavor.
Gemina is light, playful and deliciously fruity, with subtle bubbles that give it a refreshing character. Perfect as an aperitif and delicious on warm days. Depending on how you serve the bottle, you can opt for a cloudy, rich flavor experience by mixing the yeast, or a clear, sophisticated version by leaving the bottle upright.

Uvamatris is located in Sala Monferrato in the northern part of the Monferrato region of Piedmont. Gabriele Ronchi is the young winemaker and owner. Located at the top of a rolling hill about 264 metres above sea level, the estate stretches over 6 hectares, four of which are planted with vineyards of Barbera, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Merlot.
