Refined aromas of kumquat, neroli and ripe peach are complemented by subtle hints of balsam, cedar, acacia and a touch of minerality. The palate is compact, harmonious and beautifully balanced, with lively acidity and a savoury, mineral finish.
Aged for 12 months in stainless steel tanks and French oak tonneaus, and bottle-aged for a minimum of six months, Gemma has an alcohol content of 13% and an aging potential of as much as eight years. Serve this refined wine at a temperature of 10-12°C, perfect with semi-ripened cheeses, risotto with fish, white meat or roasted fish dishes.
