'Genesi' is an expressive white wine that purely expresses the true essence of the Grechetto grape. Made from 100% Grechetto sourced from the clay-rich alluvial soils of Allerona Scalo, this wine combines power and elegance with a deep connection to its terroir. The grapes are grown via the double Guyot method and at a yield of 75 quintals per hectare, ensuring a perfect balance between volume and quality.
After controlled fermentation for about 15 days in stainless steel tanks at an average temperature of 20°C, 'Genesi' matures for four months on the fine lees. This ageing takes place in steel, with the lie being regularly stirred up (batonnage) to add complexity and texture to the wine. This careful technique enhances the aromatic profile without losing its fresh character.
The wine is distinguished by its intense golden yellow colour, a natural expression of the grape itself, which is rich in flavonols - pigment molecules that contribute to the depth and brilliance of white wines. In production, clarifications and the use of sulphites are kept to an absolute minimum so as not to disturb the authentic aromatic and flavour characteristics. The result is a Grechetto that is pure and rich, with a mouthfeel that is both round and refined, ideal for lovers of characterful white wines.
