Product description
GiallOro - Bianco Lazio IGT is a sophisticated orange wine made from a balanced blend of 50% Roscetto and 50% Procanico. This wine combines character with accessibility, appealing to both lovers of natural wines and curious explorers. Produced without added sulphites, it retains its pure and authentic expression.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the early morning and carefully selected before being transported to the cellar in small boxes. Vinification begins with a natural pied de cuve, five days before main fermentation. The must undergoes maceration on the skins without temperature control in stainless steel tanks, giving the wine its deep golden colour and complex structure. After ageing for 10 months, it is bottled unclarified and unfiltered, fully preserving its natural characteristics.
Thanks to the volcanic soil with a tufa base and the favourable south-west exposure of the vineyards at 436 metres altitude, GiallOro develops expressive minerality and lively freshness. With an alcohol content of 12% and a subtle acidity of 5 g/l, it offers a harmonious balance between structure and drinkability. Only 600 bottles are produced annually, making this wine an exclusive and special choice.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
