The Edition Grauer Burgunder "Gris de Gris" 2022 is a white wine made from the grauburgunder grape from the Mosel region in Germany, produced by Weingut Marx.
With an alcohol content of 13.5%, this dry wine offers an intense and powerful flavour profile with aromas of dried fruit and nuts. The wine is produced using conventional methods, with a long skin soaking and fermentation in barriques. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's complex minerality.
This wine is best served at 10-12°C and makes an excellent accompaniment to lamb dishes and light game dishes, such as game poultry or venison leg.
