Champagne Bonvalet's cuvée Horae is a vintage champagne from the 2014 vintage, made from a refined blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. This Extra-Brut champagne (5 g/l residual sugar) reflects the house's signature style: pure, elegant and with a focus on terroir and precision. Malolactic fermentation adds to its smoothness and complexity, while bottle ageing ensures a harmonious and layered structure.
In the glass, Horae shows with a bright golden colour and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose reveals aromas of quince paste and toasted brioche, with subtle hints of ripe fruit and a slight floral touch. The palate offers a balanced profile with clear minerality, medium to full body and a pleasant fraîche. The finish is dry, refined and elegant, with expressive aromatic length.
This cuvée is not only an ode to the time and patience required to create something beautiful, but also embodies the perseverance and vision of the Bonvalet house.
