The 'I Monti' Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a sweet red wine made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella that goes best with chocolate and almost all desserts.
The wine is a beautiful amber colour in the glass. Aromas of plums, ripe cherries, vanilla, cocoa and fruit in syrup are evident. On the palate, the wine is sweet, aromatic yet retains its elegance. The grapes for this wine are dried for a further five months to increase residual sugars before being macerated for almost half a year. Maturation continues in steel tanks and in the bottle.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
