Product description
The Barbaresco DOCG I Patriarchi is an elegant and powerful red wine made from carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes from the best cru vineyards in the Neive region. After a manual harvest in early October, the wine undergoes a traditional 12-day maceration, followed by a maturation of no less than 30 months in French oak barrels. This long aging process creates a wonderful balance between fruity and spicy notes, in which ripe red fruits merge with refined spices.
On the palate, this Barbaresco offers a harmonious combination of body, soft tannins and fresh elegance, lending itself perfectly to further aging. The wine is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 18-20 °C and develops beautifully between 5 and 10 years after harvest.
This sophisticated wine is the ideal companion for rich, savory dishes. It pairs perfectly with fresh egg tagliatelle with liver or meat sauce, creamy risottos with Castelmagno or Fontina cheese, and slow-cooked meat dishes such as stewed or roasted meats and game. Its complexity also comes out fully with aged cheeses.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
