In Castagnole Monferrato, this special red wine comes to life amid the enchanting landscapes of Piedmont. Here Montalbera nurtures Ruchè grapes with love, with low Guyot training systems and 7-8 buds on the fruiting vine, and a green harvest in the early summer months to promote quality.
With an emphasis on traditional red vinification, Montalbera nurtures each grape in the process, creating a wine that speaks of craftsmanship and dedication. After harvest, the wine matures in large barrels and French oak barrels for around 10-14 months, depending on the year. No tartaric stabilisation, because why change anything about perfection?"
