The 'Il Gabai' Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso DOC is a red wine made from the grapes Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella that is best drunk with red meat and mature cheeses.
The wine has an intense dark red colour with intense aromas of elegant spices, black pepper and tobacco on the nose. On the palate, the wine is velvety, elegant yet with a full body and soft tannins. The wine is aged for 18 months in its own wood before bottling. The wine has an alcohol content of 14.5% and should be aired briefly before drinking.
Geweldige fijne wijn. Stevig met hout , zwart fruit en en weinig tannine. Mooi bij harde kaas maar bij een pasta.
