The 'IXE' Tempranillo Toscana is a red wine made from 100% Tempranillo that goes best with traditional Tuscan cuisine or dishes that include fruit.
The wine has a slightly transparent red colour with blue tones. On the nose, the wine has aromas of dark fruit with mineral hints. On the palate, it is a soft wine as a Tempranillo often is with a complex acidity that makes the wine drinkable and enjoyable. The grapes are picked in September after which vinification begins. The wine is fermented in cement vats with maceration with skin for 30 days. The wine is then aged for 15 months, half of which is in cement vats and the other half in French oak barrels after which it matures in bottle for a further 6 months.
