The Jobastre Rouge is a red natural wine made from 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Merlot, and is fully certified organic. This red wine is perfect to drink with a piece of grilled red meat, but is also delicious with a cheese board.
This wine harmoniously combines three noble grape varieties: 60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Merlot. Young vines, currently in organic conversion, are carefully harvested by hand by passionate winemakers. With a limited yield of 20 hectolitres per hectare, the 2022 vintage promises exceptional quality.
In the cellar, natural fermentation takes place without additives. Indigenous yeasts are given room to work. Vinification and ageing take place without SO2, mainly in stainless steel tanks. At bottling, the wine is left unfiltered, without clarification, with just a hint of SO2.
This wine, the result of work by two young, passionate winemakers, gives space to the terroir. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol.
A deep ruby red colour characterises this wine. The bouquet reveals notes of ripe black fruit supported by fine tannins. On the palate, we find fine tannins and wonderful juiciness. This wine retains a nice fruitiness and wonderful length on the palate. It goes extremely well with red meat dishes.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
