The 'Kerner' is a white wine from Weingut Max from the Mosel region, made from 100% Kerner grapes. With an alcohol content of 10.5% vol. and from the 2023 vintage, this wine falls into the category of quality German wine from the Mosel region.
The wine is semi-dry in taste and offers a juicy, fruity flavour profile with aromas of pear and apricot. It is aged in a stainless steel tank and produced using conventional methods. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's unique minerality.
This wine is best served at 6-8°C and makes an excellent companion to light meats and bread, fish or salad.
