Ellwanger's Kreation CMX Rotwein Trocken is a refined and powerful red wine composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Cubin and Cabernet Franc. This cuvée offers a deep, ruby red color and elegant complexity that is perfectly expressed with beef and game dishes. With an alcohol content of 14.5% and a dry flavor style, this wine combines intense fruitiness with a firm structure.
At the first sip, the wine reveals rich aromas of red and black berries, such as cassis and blackcurrant, accompanied by spicy accents of black pepper and juniper. On the palate, fine tannins and subtle notes of chocolate and vanilla develop, providing a harmonious balance of fruit, spiciness and elegant wood aging.
The name Kreation CMX reflects the character of this blend, with the “C” and “M” standing for Cabernet and Merlot. This makes the wine an expressive and balanced choice for lovers of complex red wines who appreciate both power and finesse.
Weingut Ellwanger is a family business from Baden-Württemberg, run by Yvonne and Sven.
The winery is located in Großheppach, in the Remstal region, about 20 km east of Stuttgart. The steep southern slopes with deep Keuper formations offer ideal conditions for their fruity and sustainable cépage wines. The Ellwangers are true wine lovers and produce classic wines from the Burgunder family, Rieslings, but also experiment with grape varieties such as Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc. They are rightfully proud of their wines as they beautifully represent this stunning region and because they produce their wines entirely organically.
