The Kreation NERO Rotwein trocken is a deep red wine with berry aromas in the nose that goes well with game.
A balanced combination of Lemberger, Dornfelder, Spätburgunder and four more grape varieties. These grapes were fermented on the skins for 8-14 days and aged in wooden barrels for 12 months before being bottled unfiltered.
This particular grape choice and method of making combine to produce a wide range of spicy aromas such as: Cassis, chocolate, tobacco and on the palate the blackberries and chocolate are confirmed and the wine has fine tannins and a long finish. This wine pairs well with, for example, venison with blackberry sauce or a delicious celery salad. The wine is best chilled for a while with an ideal serving temperature of 16 to 17 degrees.
