The 'La Merla' Viognier Toscana IGT 2020 is a white wine made from 100% Viognier that pairs perfectly with antipasti, risotto and lighter vegetable dishes.
The grapes for 'La Merla' are hand-picked and carefully selected towards the end of August. The vinification of the grapes takes place for 15 days in steel tanks at a controlled temperature around 11 degrees. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is aged with lees for some time before finishing in the bottle.
The wine has a bright straw yellow colour and has a round flavour sensation and a strong pleasant aroma of fresh (tropical) fruit. The wine is well balanced with a nice structure and acidity.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
