The 'La Novella' Terrazze Retiche Di Sondrio Bianco IGT is a white wine made from Nebbiolo, Chardonnay and Incrocia Manzoni grapes that goes perfectly with pasta and light dishes. The wine has an intense aroma and flavour, typical of Nebbiolo wine. Light and supple, the wine is complemented by fresh (pre-)dishes. The grapes are grown in typical Valtellinean fashion, so the vineyard is located between 350 and 700 mtr altitude. After the grapes are picked by hand, they are fermented according to the 'Capello sommerso' method before being aged in steel tanks. Drink the wine heavily chilled (8-10 degrees) to do it justice.
