The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo is a red wine made from Nebbiolo that goes well with more elaborate starters and lighter meat dishes.
The wine has a ruby red colour with light orange reflections. It has a characteristic delicate aroma on the nose with a filmy and full-bodied mouthfeel. The grapes are destemmed after picking and gently pressed before maceration and subsequent fermentation. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is fermented a second time but this time malolactically to further mature the wine. The wine is then decanted into wooden barrels where it will be aged for 12 to 14 months before being bottled.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
