The wine is made from the Piedmontese vine, better known throughout Italy as Vermentino. Its continental cultivation on the hills of Langa is quite special: with proper attention in the vineyard, this vine produces especially fresh and fragrant wines.
Perfect for an aperitif, an excellent companion to cold bites and seasonal fruit.
Vine: 100% Favorita
Location: Grapes from three different vineyards in the municipality of Diano d'Alba; typically clayey, calcareous soil, characterised by layers of more or less compact sand interspersed with grey sandstones (sand compacted and cemented by carbonates from seawater) called Arenarie di Diano. Altitude: 300/400 m above sea level.
Harvest: an early harvest, carried out manually, vineyard by vineyard, in boxes, in the first days of September.
