Product description
Langhe DOC Nebbiolo BIO is a pure expression of the Nebbiolo grape, grown in organic vineyards in the hills of Langhe, Piedmont. Thanks to the limestone-rich soils and special microclimate, the wine has a unique character. The grapes are grown without chemical products and are handpicked at the end of October, giving the wine rich aromas and complex flavors.
The traditional winemaking uses controlled temperatures and long maceration, which gives the wine its ruby-red color and rich aromas. After fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in large oak barrels. This softens the strong tannins and adds delicate oak notes without overpowering the fruity and floral aromas. The result is a complex bouquet with scents of dried plums, berries, roses, nuts, and a hint of tobacco.
On the palate, the wine is full and powerful with a dry, fruity taste and firm tannins that soften after 6 to 8 years of aging. This versatile Nebbiolo pairs perfectly with rich dishes like cured meats, roasted red meat, game, and aged cheeses. Serve it in a large glass with a narrow opening to fully enjoy the delicate aromas. Langhe DOC Nebbiolo BIO is an authentic expression of the Langhe terroir and offers a refined and unforgettable wine experience.
