The 'L'Enfore' Sforzato Valtellina Superiore DOCG BIO 2011 is a red wine made from 100% Valtellinese Nebbiolo grapes. The wine is the showpiece of Marcel Zanolari's offering. The grapes are hand-picked and dried losing over 25% of their weight. During maceration, the 'grape skins' , as they are called by Zanolari, are co-fermented for 3-5 months. The wine has a powerful body and is at its best when decanted. On the nose, the wine gives hints of dark berries and roses. Use the wine with hearty meat meals or casseroles with grilled vegetables
