Product description
The 'l'ebrescade' AOP Cairanne is a red wine made from 50% Mourvèdre, 30% Syrah and 20% Grenache that is best drunk with hearty meat dishes and mature cheeses.
The average age of our Syrah vines is 70 years, while our Grenache and Mourvèdre vines are 40 years old. The vines are located at the top of Ventabren hill, at an altitude of 327 metres. The soil, influenced by sedimentary deposits, consists mainly of marl and calcareous layers. The wine was aged for 24 months in old demi-muids and foudres. Maturation took place at a stable temperature in our wine cellar. The L'Ebrescade has a deep and dense red colour with ruby hues.
The nose and mouth are dominated by jammy fruits, smoky aromas and spicy cinnamon notes. The tannins are concentrated and supple. This cuvée has wonderful roundness and a long finish. It is an exceptionally intense cuvée with an elegant palette that is very complex yet refined. It is a wine to be opened at a memorable moment with storage potential of 10 to 15 years if under the right conditions.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
