This wine comes from a terroir of clayey and sandy soils with pebbles. The vineyards date back to 1956 and consist of the grape varieties Tannat, Cabernet Franc and Manseng Noir, along with experimental plantings of mildew-resistant grape varieties. These varieties are natural crosses developed by French and German research, adapted to the Pyrenees. The promising specimens are planted on high-altitude sites in a closed area at the highest point of Quartier Haut Ucha de Monein. Cold maceration for 72 hours ensures extraction of colour and tannins without being excessive. After aging in stainless steel tanks until spring, this wine is characterised by its youthful freshness and subtle aromas of red fruit, along with soft tannins. This makes it ideal for sunny days, perfect to pair with barbecue, picnics and evenings with friends.
