The Leonina Langhe Nascetta from Francone is a dry white wine made from the local Nascetta grape. The wine is fairly fresh and mineral. This Nascetta has a long fresh aftertaste and pairs wonderfully with various fish dishes, vegetarian meals and with white meat.
Vinification: manual harvest in mid-September. Slow and gentle pressing. Fermentation at 16°C to preserve the aroma and fruity flavours. Bottling is done as soon as possible (after a short rest period in the barrel of about 5 months: "sur lies" method. To drink: up to 36 months after harvest.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
