Francone's Leonina Langhe Nascetta is a sophisticated dry white wine made from the indigenous Nascetta grape from the Langhe region. This particular grape variety is known for its subtle aromas and fresh minerality. Thanks to careful vinification, with slow and gentle pressing followed by slow fermentation at 16°C, the fruity and floral notes are beautifully preserved. After a short five-month aging on fine yeast cells (“sur lie”), the wine is bottled to ensure its lively character and refined structure.
The Leonina Langhe Nascetta has a bright, straw yellow color and an aroma profile full of ripe white fruit, citrus and a subtle spiciness. The palate is elegant and balanced, with a fresh, mineral touch and a long, pleasant finish. The wine continues to develop for up to three years after harvest, offering a harmonious combination of freshness and refinement with every sip.
This versatile wine goes perfectly with a variety of dishes. It pairs excellently with grilled fish, delicate fish dishes such as tartare, light vegetarian meals and spicy dishes. With soft goat cheese and white meat, this wine also provides perfect harmony. Serve it chilled at a temperature of 8-10°C for an optimal taste experience.
