The 2020 Rouge from Domaine Herrebouc's 'Les essentielles' series is a red wine that is a blend of 65% Merlot, 35% Tannat. These grapes are typical of the Sud Ouest region in which Domaine Herrebouc is located.
This robust wine has a nice 15-year storage potential due to strong tannins. The wine is robust but has silky fruity notes. The wine has scents and flavours of flowers and brushwood. The wine is harmonious and warm.
The grapes were partly hand-picked and partly machine-picked and is fully biodynamically produced. This essential has an alcohol content of 14%. Be sure to decant this wine.
