Product description
The 'Les Galets Côtes du Rhône' is a red wine made from 30% Carignan, 20% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Counoise and 10% Mourvèdre that goes best with firm cheeses and red meat.
These grapes come from the terroirs of Garrigues, Carré, Canarde and Truffière. This vineyard is hot and dry, located on a flat, exposed area. The average age of the vines is 30 years, with a yield of 30 to 35 hl/ha. The Garrigues district, a terroir of red clay and small boulders, provides rich concentration in the grapes. Aging takes place in concrete tanks for eight months until bottling. Vinification is natural, with a slight addition of sulphite before bottling (1.5 g/hl). The wine is kept in a temperate cellar until it is released on the market.
The Les Galets has a deep red colour with ruby hues. The aroma and mouthfeel are dominated by blackberry, olive and anise notes. It is a very expressive wine with supple tannins. It is a beautiful reflection of what the southern Rhone Valley stands for.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
