The 'Les Secrets de Cornille' Blanc Terre de Camargue IGP is a pale yellow, intense white wine made from 100% Chardonnay and is best enjoyed with chicken and seafood.
A white wine with a pale yellow colour. An intense nose of citrus and pastry aromas. The mouth is full and generous with notes of brioche and toasted bread. A touch of freshness in the finish provides perfect balance in this wine.
As with all Secrets, the plots are carefully selected. The controlled yields enable the production of high-quality wines. The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness. They are protected directly on the plot from oxygen with carbon dioxide. After harvesting, the grapes are cooled. The tanks are inert before the juice is received by slow direct pressing. The yeasts ferment between 16 and 18°C. The wines are put into French oak barrels in the middle of fermentation and bâtonnage is carried out several times a week. Maturation takes place on the groin for 6 months.
This wine goes perfectly with grilled scallops on a bed of leeks. It can also be served with chicken legs with honey. A glass of Secret will also glorify a tarte tatin.
