Composed of 75% Cannonau and 25% other red grapes such as Monica, Carignano and Bovale, this wine is grown in a quality-oriented manner, with careful vine training and manual harvesting. After a 10-15-day maceration period, the grapes are pressed and undergo a maturation of about 6 months in second-year oak barrels, followed by a 3-month rest period in bottle before sale. This medium-bodied wine with an alcohol content of 14.5% has a versatile character and goes well with a variety of dishes, such as pasta, red meat, stews and sheep cheeses with a light ageing.
