Nizza DOCG "Lorella" is a wine with a powerful personality and elegant character, perfectly embodying the essence of the Nizza appellation. Produced with a deep respect for tradition and innovation, this Barbera reflects the unique location of the vineyards and the careful vinification method.
The wine is aged for a minimum of 22 months, including at least 12 months in small French oak barrels. This process gives the wine a refined balance between fruity freshness and spicy complexity. In the glass, Lorella shows an intense ruby red colour, while the aroma opens up with aromas of ripe cherries, red fruit and a subtle floral touch. Hints of sweet spices, cocoa and tobacco then develop, giving the wine a layered and seductive character.
On the palate, the wine is deep, full and enveloping, with a lively freshness that provides a refined and long-lasting finish. Thanks to its structure and complexity, Lorella has great ageing potential and develops beautifully in the bottle. Perfect to pair with aged cheeses, grilled red meat and game dishes.
