The "Margherita" from Cascina Garitina is a full, fruity red wine with a long finish. This strong, dry wine from Piemonte has clear cherry notes that give it a rich character. It comes from the first vineyard where Gianluca’s great-grandmother Margherita started working in the early 1900s, a place with fragile white marl soil that gives the wine a nice balance even when young.
As part of the Neuvsent project, which began before the Nizza DOCG was created, this wine comes from a careful harvest of three different vineyards, each with its own soil. This results in three Nizza wines: the same in spirit but unique in structure. The "Margherita" holds memories of an old world while embracing the present and looking to the future, with the clear touch of winemaker Gianluca.
The "Margherita" is sealed with a Korked screw cap with controlled oxygen flow, keeping its quality and freshness. Serve this wine at 18°C to 20°C to fully enjoy its rich taste and fruity notes. It’s a powerful tribute to family history and the special soil of Piemonte.
