The 'Monghisio' Piedmont Sauvignon DOC is a white wine made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc that is perfect with white meat, charcuterie and soups.
The name refers to what since 1663 has been Monghisio ("Munghis" in dialect), meaning "raised land" and it has soil rich in fossils near Vinchio. That makes this area very favourable for the cultivation of Sauvignon, a well-known international vine.The wine has a straw yellow colour with green hues. The nose is elegant, intense and typical of the grape with aromas of Citrus, tropical fruit, mango and pineapple. On the palate, the wine is very well balanced, fresh and full.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
