The Negroamaro Salento IGP is a red wine made from 100% Negroamaro that is best drunk with hearty pasta with bolognese sauce, lamb or ripe cheeses.
The wine has an intense ruby red colour with on the nose recognisable aromas of black cherries, plums and tobacco. On the palate, it is a structured wine with warm and soft tannins. Fermentation takes place entirely in steel tanks with a further three months of refinement in bottle. 13,000 bottles are bottled and marketed annually.
