The 'Nero di Sole' Salento IGP Primitivo Rosato is a rosé made from 100% primitivo that is best enjoyed as an aperitif or with light fish dishes or a risotto.
The wine has a pale pink colour with hints of the colour of onion skin. On the nose, aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries are immediately recognisable. On the palate, excellent acidity combined with fruitiness is responsible for its persistence. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks after which the wine matures further in bottle for 3 months. 13,000 bottles are bottled and marketed annually.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
