The Nizza Riserva "la Castagnetta" is a red wine made from 100% Barbera grapes. The wine is harvested strictly by hand. Only the best grapes and bunches are manually selected for this wine. This is followed by a fermentation on the skins in stainless steel tanks for 10/12 days at 24 - 26°C.
The wine has an intense red colour and is very complex. Its intense aroma has mainly a spicy tone. The wine has a full flavour, is harmonious in tannins and has a full body.
Ideal with hefty meat dishes, braised beef, Fassona steak, Fiorentina, game and very mature cheeses.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
