Product description
The "Oca Bianca" by Garoglio Davide is a unique white wine from the Piedmont region, made from 80% Barbera and 20% Cortese grapes. This fresh and fruity wine pairs perfectly with white meat like chicken or veal, light fish dishes, and medium-ripened cheeses that complement its lively character. The blend of these grapes makes it youthful and approachable, showcasing Piedmont’s winemaking versatility in 75 cl bottles.
The process is all natural, starting with a three-day skin soak in steel tanks, giving the wine its intense straw-yellow color and robust structure. It then ferments naturally, without any additives or interference, using only the grapes’ own yeasts. This results in a wine with 13% alcohol, balancing strength and freshness – a rare harmony for a white wine led by Barbera.
With its intense straw-yellow color, the "Oca Bianca" offers a fruity bouquet of citrus and white flowers, with a lively, youthful taste that refreshes the palate. It’s robust yet elegant, perfect for light meals or as an aperitif. Serve at 10-12 °C to enjoy its freshness and fruit notes – a wine celebrating Garoglio Davide’s pure craft, appealing to fans of original white wines.
