This white wine is made from 100% Chardonnayand can be drunk perfectly as an aperitif, with mature cheeses but also as a wine with a dessert.
The wine has a golden yellow dark colour tending to amber. It not only has an orange colour but also aromas are similar to orange fruits like a ripe orange, dried apricot with hints of sweet spices. The mouthfeel is round with an elegant and pronounced tannic structure. The grapes are manually selected and picked after which they are taken directly to the wine cellar to be destemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in tanks under controlled temperatures after which maturation takes place in French oak barrels.

Azienda Agricola L’essenza di Puglia is a young winery from Puglia in the heel of Italy, located at the foot of the Torre Guaceto nature reserve. Until recently, the winery only produced wines (and olive oil) for personal use, but has now chosen to share their quality wines with a wider audience. The winery produces wines from Primitivo, Negroamaro, Malvasia, Chardonnay, and Fiano.
