The Perchèno Monferrato Rosso from Poggio, a firm and dry red wine from Piedmont. A well-balanced wine (on the nose) with tannins present. Poggio's Perchèno has the typical characteristics of a Nebbiolo. On the nose: earthy notes, leather, tar and red fruit. The finish is long and soft.
