The 'Pietra Viva' Verdeca IGP Valle d'Itria Bianco is a white wine made from 100% Verdeca that is excellent as an aperitif or with delicate hors d'oeuvres.
The wine has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. The wine has an intense and delicate bouquet with clear hints of white flowers and elderflower. The wine has the distinctive taste of green apple and lemon with a clear mineral note, typical of the grape variety. The grapes are manually harvested and selected after which they undergo gentle pressing. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 4 months in stainless steel tanks, after which it continues to mature in bottle for a further 2 months. The wine is best enjoyed at a temperature between 10-12°C.
