Product description
Puisieulx Grand Cru Les Petites Vignes is an exclusive cuvée that brings to life the essence of Puisieulx's unique terroir. Puisieulx, one of Champagne's rare Grand Cru villages, covers less than 18 hectares of vineyards and is known for its light soil and chalky subsoil. The southeast exposure of the vineyards gives the grapes optimal sunshine hours, which contributes to the exceptional quality of the wine.
The grapes for this cuvée, from the 55-year-old vineyard Les Petites Vignes, consist of equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir. The base wine is from the 2019 harvest and is enhanced by a Solera system that includes reserve wines from 2009 to 2018. This complex blend results in a Champagne with depth and character, partly aged in oak barrels for extra dimension and refinement.
After a minimum of 24 months of aging in cellars and manual remuage, this cuvée offers an intense and refined aroma. Rich notes of ripe fruit and a hint of vanilla are perfectly balanced by a beautiful minerality on the palate. The result is a Champagne that is both elegant and powerful, with a dosage of 6 grams per litre highlighting the wine's finesse.
With a limited production of only 600 bottles a year, this Puisieulx Grand Cru Les Petites Vignes is a true gem, meant to be shared on special occasions.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
