Product description
The Raboso Piave Veneto IGT Biologico from Terre Grosse is a red wine made from 100 Raboso and is best enjoyed with spicy dishes and mature cheeses.
This rustic wine is full-bodied and powerful, extremely drinkable and imbued with the depth of the roots of the ancient vineyards from which it comes.
In the glass, it reveals a beautiful, intense ruby red colour that is almost opaque. The aroma is broad and intriguing. It opens with the scents of dark fruits such as cherries, blackberries and plums, complemented by a refreshing tone reminiscent of blood orange. Delicate floral notes of red rose are followed by pleasant hints of tobacco, earthy notes and brushwood. A touch of pink pepper and clove add a slight spiciness to the whole. On the palate, it is warm and full-bodied. The subtle presence of wood balances the lively tannins and the characteristic acidity of the grapevine. This wine has a full body and retains a seductive longevity that will still manage to surprise in a few years.
It goes extremely well with fatty and spicy dishes such as game and mature cheeses. Try it with typical local dishes such as 'radici e fattioi' and 'polenta with mushrooms and soppressa'.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
