Product description
This wine from Nera is made by vinification of red grapes from Nebbiolo and other local grapes such as the Rossola and by vinification of Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni grapes.
The wine 'Rezio', from Antica Raetia, takes its name from the Raetics Alps, which lie to the south, where our vineyards are grown. About a hectare of Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni vineyards, planted in 1998 in Teglio, at about 600 metres above sea level. The Rossola gives this wine a soft colour, good acidity and a fruity aroma.
Vineyards: descending from east to west with southern exposure to the sun in the production areas of Valtellina Superiore Valgella in the municipality of Teglio at an altitude between 450 and 600 metres above sea level. Soil type: Sandy soil, permeable, moderately deep. Vinification: Fermentation "a cappello sommerso" for about 10 days at a controlled temperature. Aging: Wines obtained from separate fermentations are then blended together and aged in barriques (French oak barrels) for 10 months.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
