This Riesling 'Vom Bunten Mergel' Trocken is a white wine made from 100% Riesling that goes best with a fresh risotto but also as an aperitif with drinks.
This Riesling comes from vines that are between 25 and 40 years old so a distinct minerality can be recognised in the wine. The blackbird soil the stems are planted in also has an emphatic influence on this. In the nose, you will recognise the distinctive fresh herbs, citrus and notes of rhubarb, green apple and apricot. On the palate, the wine is juicy with a fresh finish that confirms the recognised aromas on the nose.
