Product description
RM - Bianco Lazio IGT is a unique and rare maceration wine made entirely from the indigenous Roscetto grape. This is a special wine, as it is the only Roscetto to be vinified purely on the skins. During fermentation, 30% of the skins remain in contact with the must, giving the wine deep complexity and structure. With an extremely low yield per hectare and a limited production of only 1,100 bottles, this wine embodies the purity and character of its terroir.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the early morning and carefully transported in small crates to preserve their freshness. After gentle pressing and spontaneous fermentation without temperature control, the wine matures for 11 months on the fine lees in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unclarified, retaining its authentic and natural characteristics. Due to the natural sediment present, it is recommended to keep the bottle upright.
The volcanic soil, consisting of a first layer of sand and a subsoil of tuff, contributes to the wine's lively minerality. With an alcohol content of 13% and a subtle acidity of 5.2 g/l, this maceration wine has a powerful structure, refined aromas and a distinct character. A special wine for lovers of artisanal, minimal intervention wines.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
