The "Rocche" Nizza DOCG is a full-bodied red wine made from the Barbera grape. Nizza is one of Italy's newest DOCG. The Rocche is a full-bodied firm but mostly soft red wine. The wine is soft because it was aged for 16-18 months in French oak barrels and then aged for 12 months in bottle. This Nizza goes perfectly with red meats, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
