Roquevieille Rosé is an elegant and refreshing rosé from one of the finest clay-limestone terroirs in the Bordeaux region, located on sunny plateaus and gentle slopes. This cuvée is an expressive blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc, grapes that come into their own perfectly in this balanced microclimate.
The grapes are gently pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery to produce a very light orange-pink colour. Fermentation takes place at low temperature, below 15°C, to preserve the grapes' full aromatic potential. After a short ageing in sealed stainless steel tanks, where the wine is fully protected from oxygen, it develops its vibrant freshness and brilliant brightness.
In the glass, Roquevieille Rosé presents itself with a lively attack and aromas of red berries, such as currant and raspberry. The midpalate remains fresh and juicy, ideal for summer moments. This rosé is refined, fruity and beautifully balanced - the perfect companion for aperitifs, garden parties and barbecues on warm days. A true ode to the sun in every sip.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
