The 'Rosa Munda' Barbera del Monferrato DOC is a biodynamic wine made from 100% barbera that goes best with dried sausage, cheese and meat dishes. This barbera is fully biodynamic and certified organic and only 1100 bottles of it are produced every year. The grapes for this wine are hand-picked and carefully transported in small crates, with an emphasis on quality. The yield of the vineyard is small to produce the most expressive and concentrated grapes. Fermentation and maceration of this wine are spontaneous and take place exclusively with wild yeasts. This process is carried out in a cellar located underground, with constant temperature and humidity, accentuating the wine's unique flavour. After vinification, this wine was aged for 8 months in old tonneaux/barriques, which contributed to its depth and complexity. The alcohol content is 14.96%, with a refreshing acidity of 8.12 g/l and a dry extraction of 29.8 g/l. The total sulphite content is minimal, just 26 mg/l. To experience the full flavour, it is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature between 15°C and 18°C. The grapes for the Rosa Munda Barbera del Monferrato DOC come from the hills south/southeast of Rocca Grimalda, with an altitude of 300 metres above sea level and calcareous white soils. Made 100% from the barbera grape, this wine reflects the region's unique terroir. A true gem for lovers of Barbera.

Rocca Rondinaria is a biodynamic and organically certified family business from Piedmont, led by Lucesio and Giovanna. In 2004, the couple decided, along with their children, to take an exciting step into the world of winemaking. Initially with the help of local winemakers, and now entirely on their own, they produce biodynamic wines from Timarosso, Barbera, and Dolcetto beside the iconic Rocca Grimalda castle in Monferrato. Annually, they produce fewer than 6,000 bottles.
