The Rosé Fronton AOP from Saint Louis is an organic rose made from 50% Négrette and 50% Gamay that is best drunk as an aperitif or with salads.
This exquisite wine is a blend of two iconic grape varieties: Pinot Saint Georges(Négrette) and Gamay. The Pinot provides structure and finesse while the Gamay brings lively and fruity aromas.
The cuvée stands out for its exceptional freshness, obtained by a direct pressing method that delicately extracts the first press juices, rich in aromas and purity. Clarification of the juice, a crucial step to purify the juice, is done at a controlled temperature of 6°C, which ensures optimal removal of suspended particles.
The fermentation, an essential stage of vinification, takes place at a temperature below 18°C for about 10 days. This precise temperature control promotes slow and steady fermentation, preserving delicate aromas and creating a balanced wine. Natural yeast, carefully selected, plays a key role in encouraging harmonious fermentation and enriching the wine's aromatic profile.
During the entire vinification process, a minimum of sulphites are added. Although sulphites are often necessary for preserving wine, they are used here in moderation to respect the purity and authenticity of the final product as much as possible.
This rose from Saint Louis has an enchanting floral aroma with notes of roses and violets that blend harmoniously with nuances of fresh fruit and apricot. On the palate, pleasant acidity comes nicely to the fore which makes the wine pleasant and fresh.
