The Rosicasasso IGP Rosso Lazio by Castelli is a red wine made from Canaiolo Nero from the hills of Marta, Lazio that goes well with risotto, game and red meat.The vineyard is 315m above sea level where the grapes are hand-picked and fermented under controlled temperature of 18 degrees. The wine is then aged for 6-7 months in steel vats. The wine has an alcohol content of 13% and is a delight to the nose with its intense red colour and aromas of red fruit. The wine comes into its own best when served at a temperature of 16 - 18°C where its soft and dry intensity comes out well.
