The 'Rubus Baca' Biologico is a red wine made from 100% Merlot Khorus that goes great with distinctive meat dishes and game.
This wine comes from Meduna di Livenza, Treviso - Veneto, where the Merlot Khorus Resistant grape variety is trained according to the Sylvoz system. The harvest period falls in mid to late September, when the grapes reach their optimum ripeness. With a maximum yield of 110 hector litres per hectare, grapes are carefully selected and undergo red vinification with 8-10 days maceration. Fermentation takes place in tanks without skin contact.
The 'Rubus Baca' Biologico has an intense red colour, velvety and ruby red. The bouquet is characterised by aromas of red berries such as blackberries and raspberries, alongside blackcurrants and typical notes of the forest, even down to pine needles. The flavour is deep, persistent and firm, making this wine a true discovery. This particular wine has an alcohol content of 12.5% vol and a subtle residual sugar of about 3 g/lt, as well as a total acidity of 5.5 g/lt. Store the bottle at a constant temperature of 15°C to preserve its quality. The ideal serving temperature is 16°C, which best expresses the depth and intensity of this wine.
